This October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as someone who has a grandmother that is a breast cancer survivor at the age of 90+, I just had to strut my pink.(I can't give away my grandmother's real age, she would have a fit). As my full body revolution continues, I decided to reveal some of my development on my way to the body that I know has been there all along. I'm at a size 8 right now, so stay tuned as I get this bod in its best shape ever all in devotion to my grandma who is still rockin and rollin despite having one of her breasts removed some years ago. When a socialite hears about a shoe sale we go crazy.  Obviously, another opportunity to grace our feet with the latest fashions is always a good thing.  This week, I listed a shoe pick of the week from BCBGeneration that was drastically reduced and ultra cute for the autumn season.  Thank you for all my dolls that checked it out and signed up with your personal shopper.

Meet Jorge (see picture below).  Jorge doesn't have any shoes.  He lives in an impoverished area in the world where shoes are a commodity.  The thought of simply ordering shoes online or even going to the local department store to buy them is unheard of to him.

To get food Jorge sifts through trash laden piles, all the while shoeless and in a sense hopeless.  I urge all my fabulous socialite dudes and dolls to have compassion and donate just $36 towards not only helping Jorge, but 9 other children, as your donation will help at minimum 10 children for every order.

On a quest to find the ultimate party experience, I traveled to Virginia for a fab Hawaiian inspired 57th birthday party. Below are a few fab pics from the party and we indeed had a blast. Sipping on Sea Breezes and being crowned with leis upon entry to the party makes our friend, Mr. Nanalig's birthday a success. With that said, I salute all my fabulous dolls and say...Aloha.

I have recently visited DC to attend The 2nd Annual AT&T Nation’s Football Classic featuring Howard University and Morehouse College. To say the least it was an exciting moment in HBCU football history.

The Howard Bison, whom are known to have one of the best college homecomings in the nation gained victory over the Morehouse Tigers with a score of 30-29 in a down-to-the-seconds win that was anything but a cake walk for the home team.

All in all, my favorite part about HBCU football games are the food,the bands, and of course all the smack talking that goes down amongst the competing schools alum. Here's a little taste of my weekend experience at The 2nd Annual Nation's Football Classic sponsored by AT&T.
